Knutsford Sub-Aqua Club is the North Cheshire Branch of the British Sub-Aqua Club, the governing body of SCUBA diving in the U.K. and the largest diving Club in the World. Knutsford Sub-Aqua Club was formed in 1980 and is friendly Club with approximately forty members of all ages, qualifications and experience. The Club meets and trains on Tuesday evenings from 8.00pm on training nights with the pool available from 9.00pm at Knutsford Leisure Centre, Cheshire, followed by a visit to the nearby White Bear where we organise our diving trips and social calendar over a drink and chip butties.

Our activities include regular pool training, special development courses and trips to include scenic diving, wreck diving and advanced skills using specialised equipment. We dive most weekends in and around the region and in dedicated diving facilities such as Capernwray Diving Centre and at various coastal sites in Wales and Anglesey. In 2009, the Club organised trips to Northern Ireland, Oman, and North Devon with many dives off the North Wales Coast including Menai Straights (pictured) and Trearddur Bay.

Knutsford Sub-Aqua Club also has it's own Breathing air Compressor so air refills can be made at half the price commonally obtained through dedicated dive shops. These air fill evenings usually end up as social evenings also.
